Higher Education Inquiry (HEI) is an online, fully open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal devoted to original and critical inquiry in higher education and English language teaching and learning. HEI welcomes established and emerging researchers, early-career academics, students, education policymakers, and teachers, with particular emphasis on work that generates new knowledge, critically examines educational theories, policies and practices, and demonstrates relevance beyond local contexts.
