Information For Authors

Higher Education Inquiry (HEI) welcomes original submissions in English that align with the journal’s aims and scope. HEI publishes full-length empirical research articles, critical or systematic literature reviews, methodological papers, practice-based and policy impact articles, and academic papers. Manuscripts must be original and must not be under review elsewhere. Authors should prepare the required title page, anonymized manuscript, non-anonymized manuscript, and ethical clearance documentation where applicable. All submissions must follow APA 7th edition style and include the declarations required by the journal. HEI does not charge authors any submission or article publishing fees.
